A Lectrue with Brittany Ferrell, 21.06.19 Pride House
Black Lives Matter is a movement that fights against the systematic oppression of all black people in the USA. Brittany Ferrell is from st. Louis in Missouri and was part of the protests and rallies that came with the murder of the young Micheal Brown by the police in Ferguson.
Brittany will hold a lecture about the Movement for Black Lives and a project she co-founded called Millennial Activists United, a Black and queer women-led organization that facilitate intentional civic engagement and strategic political action around Ferguson, Missouri.
After the lecture, there will be held a Q&A with Brittany.
